WHAT IS LASER CAT?!
Laser Cat is gigantic feline-shaped art installa-tion that projects the personal pro-jects of professional creatives through its laser-beam eyes. Yes. It is. Laser Cat, in all its inflatable glory, is a project by ADC (Art Directors Club), the world's first organization dedicated to the advertising and design community. ADC's near-century long mission is to honoring the artistry and craftsmanship of commercial art by embracing the world of fine art. Laser Cat follows that mission by rallying graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, copywriters, art directors, filmmakers to take off their professional hats, if only for a moment, and celebrate the childlike enthusiasm that lead so many of us to our careers in the first place. Laser Cat is serious passion without being the slightest bit serious. Of course ADC could not have created Laser Cat without the vision, talent and audacity of Hungry Castle, the Barcelona-based creative duo whose projects blend fashion and public art have made a global impression.
